Profession: Legal Assistant
Years of Experience: 6 years
Location: Paris, France
My Personal Experience:
My journey into HR began unexpectedly. While studying psychology in school, I never imagined becoming an HR professional. After graduation, I explored various writing outlets but ultimately found my passion in HR.
Interning at a large organization exposed me to the intricacies of HR. It was a turning point for me, and I excelled in this new domain. However, when I got pregnant, I faced skepticism about continuing as an HR professional.
Determined to prove them wrong, I embraced the challenge and decided to work with my mother to create a luxury-travel magazine for the German-speaking market. It’s been 6 fulfilling years since that decision, and our magazine has grown exponentially.
Throughout this journey, I’ve learned the importance of patience, authenticity, and believing in what you do. Being an HR Assistant has taught me that success lies in nurturing something you are passionate about, just like I do with my magazine.
