My Personal Experience: 

Ever since I was young, I had an innate curiosity about technology and how systems work. That curiosity led me to pursue a degree in Computer Science focusing on cybersecurity. I started my career as a junior cybersecurity analyst, and over the years, I have worked with various organizations across different industries.

I have faced numerous challenges throughout my journey, but each obstacle taught me valuable lessons. The cyber threats are relentless, and staying ahead in this game requires continuous dedication and passion. I have witnessed the industry change rapidly, and it’s been a roller-coaster ride of learning, adapting, and problem-solving.

The Hard part I feel about this profession as per my experience till now:

Being a cybersecurity analyst is an exhilarating journey but comes with challenges. One of the main difficulties I faced early on was keeping up with the constantly evolving cyber threats. Cybercriminals are always finding new ways to breach security measures, and as an analyst, it’s crucial to stay one step ahead. It requires continuous learning, attending workshops, and obtaining certifications to sharpen my skills and knowledge.

Another challenge is the pressure of responding swiftly and effectively to security incidents. Time is of the essence when a breach occurs, and there’s no room for errors. Protecting sensitive data and critical systems can sometimes be overwhelming, especially during high-stress situations.

 

Things I find interesting or feel “happy” about this profession are:

My suggestions for newcomers in this profession:
