Experience: 2 years and 5 months

Location: Delhi, India

 

My Personal Experience: 

According to my experience in modeling field i would like to say that, if you want to make a living doing this, you need to be motivated in staying in top physique and being able to sustain it.

Here are some things that i can tell as per my experience:

No stable income.

Constantly casting and constantly being rejected. Either long working days or lounging around doing nothing.

No 9-5 job.

Everyday could be a holiday if you wanted.

A clear motivation to workout and keep yourself in shape.

It is an enjoyable industry if you really do like it, and you get to meet a lot of people. You also feel good about yourself because you know you look good.

 

 

The Hard part I feel about this profession as per my experience till now is: 

Every profession comes with its pros and cons. There are so many hard parts to modeling. While parts of it can be glamorous and fun, it takes a lot of skills, perseverance, and conquering fears. It take more skill than people think to the model. It is very hard to start your career since there are costs as well as travelling involved and zero gurantee of even making your money back. But everyone needs to find ways to come over it. So these are the only things that i have faced till now.

 

Things one might find interesting or feel “happy” about this profession are: 

The best part of this profession is you get famous. Yes modeling is love. I love being in pictures. It’s the best thing, you get famous, you get to wear clothes of big brand, what else can be better than this? You get good amount of money! You can work anytime and any day.

Pros I feel about this profession are :

One of the biggest pros according to me is you’ll meet a lot of interesting and unique characters. You’ll make money. You’ll get to feel a better about yourself. You’ll learn skills that can benefit you later on.(fitness, styling, social media, marketing, acting)

 

Cons you feel about this profession are :

Every profession has pros and cons. So some cons are, not getting paid a lot of money at the beginning. You may not have work for a few weeks which will also reduce your finances. You will have to maintain a proper diet to remain trim and healthy. Most of the work involves long hours, lots of standing, and having to pose for the camera all day. These are all the different cons i feel.

 

What are your suggestions for those who would like to make a career in this profession?

My suggestions for those who like to make career in this profession that first of all you should never compare yourself with others . Everyone is beautiful in their own way people will make you feel down but stay positive, confident make yourself better every day by learning.

 

Q: What is your recent achievement ?

Recently i won Miss Tiska Delhi 2019 award.
