#11 Experience Of A Blogger!

Profession: Blogging

Experience: 4 years

Location: India,Delhi

I am part time blogger and full-time student. I am pursuing Engineering’s degree. I will be graduating soon and probably start blogging full time.

What inspired you to start writing your own blog being an engineering student?

I wanted a personal space to express myself and later when people started reading it and giving me their response it motivated me even more.

What is the hard part or hardships of blogging according to you which you might have faced till now?

I think being constant, in the sense constantly putting out content. There are days when I blackout and have no content and just because I want to put out content I can’t compromise on the quality.

Being a newbie I think finding the niche is difficult and takes a lot of time to find a place in so many already well-established bloggers.
I feel that people have stopped valuing the efforts of bloggers. Also, I see a lot of new bloggers emerging but I often hear them saying that they started only for free stuff.

What is the interesting thing you feel about blogging as a profession in general?

I think the freedom we get to express ourselves. The blog is an amazing way to put words out on the internet, also the free stuff we get sometimes.

What is the special thing that pushes you in writing new posts?

My readers, the feedback I get always keeps me going.

What are the 5 tips you would like to suggest to people starting their own blog?
1. Don’t lose hope, you will get there.
2. Find a niche.
3. Stick to your content, don’t follow the crowd.
4. Be original.
5. Be constant.

What is the interesting thing about your blog?

I share my personal experiences here and there, interest some people ??
My blog is a place for everyone, people of all age. I talk about fashion, lifestyle, travel, blogging, and food.

What are some ways to earn from blogging?

These are some ways.

1) Sponsored posts
2) Advertising
3) Social media advertising

Who have supported you the most in blogging?
My family is very supportive, my friends support me too. On initial stages of blogging, I made a few blogging friends online and there support helped me too.

Do you know about various awards that are given in the field of blogging?

Yes yes, there are communities in different countries. In India, there is an Indian BLOGGER community and they organize awards every few years.

How much time does it take you to write a single post on your blog and particularly at what time you feel it is appropriate and comfortable to write a new post?

I feel like it matters for the readers. If your traffic is mostly from around the world try scheduling posts accordingly.
I like to post twice a month mostly and if I have a sponsorship I try to post that too in the same month.

Pros And Cons which I feel about this profession is :

Pros: interesting hobby and a lot of future job opportunities like social media marketing, product reviewer, writer, photographer.

Cons: competition is increasing but honestly if your content is good you will stand out.

Things one might find interesting or feel “happy” about blogging?

Mostly the satisfaction of helping others with their content but also the free stuff, to be honest. My personal experience has been amazing. My blog has helped me a lot with my anxiety too.

I found all the questions asked in this interview super smart and helpful. I think such questions will help everyone who is looking for getting experience in different fields.
