#3 Experience Of A Plumber!

Profession: Plumbing

Experience: 3 years

Location:  USA

Things one might find interesting or feel “happy” about this profession is :

Plumbers almost never work in the same place for too long, you can rest assured that you will always be taken to new jobs, new projects, which means meeting a lot of people while having a lot of variety in the sorts of jobs and work you do. You’ll never get too bored of any one thing for very long.

As a plumber, you will be able to help people to fix their problems and install running water into their homes and businesses. Many plumbers take pride in this part of their work, helping people to resume their water service as it is such a large part of people’s lives.

Hardships I feel About this profession till now :

1)Society treats you like you are doing some low esteem work.
2)I have to work overtime, which could mean being on the job more than eight
hours a day and more than 40 hours a week.
3)Have to work evenings and weekends.
4)Typically i have to be on call regularly.

What my personal experience says about this profession :

To work in this occupation, you will need certain soft skills. These are strengths that will allow you to succeed at your job.

Plumbers need a license to work in most states and municipalities in the U.S. In addition to having two to five years of experience, depending on where the license is issued, you must also pass an exam.

Skills you need to be a plumber as per my experience :

Listening Skills: You will have to pay attention to what customers tell you in order to understand their problems.
Troubleshooting: After listening to a complaint, you will have to determine its cause and then figure out how to make the proper repairs.
Critical Thinking: When solving a problem, you may have to weigh possible solutions before you can choose the best one.
Verbal Communication: You must be able to clearly explain to customers the work you are planning to do and the related costs.
Physical Strength: Plumbers must be able to lift heavy equipment and tools.

  1. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But
maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with
it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one
or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

  2. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find
this topic to be really something that I think I would never
understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me.
I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of
    it!

  3. My spouse and I absolutely love your blog
and find many of your post’s to be exactly I’m looking for.
Do you offer guest writers to write content to suit
your needs? I wouldn’t mind publishing a post or elaborating on a lot
of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome site!
