Electricians are skilled professionals who install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. As an electrician with over 10 years of experience, I can say that this profession offers a rewarding career with a high demand for skilled workers.

 

The Hard part I feel about this profession as per my experience till now is: 

One of the most challenging parts of being an electrician is working in hazardous environments and dealing with potentially dangerous electrical equipment. Moreover, the job often requires working in uncomfortable positions and at odd hours, which can be physically demanding and mentally exhausting.’
Things one might find interesting or feel “happy” about this profession are: 

The most interesting part of being an electrician is the diversity of work and the ability to solve complex problems. Every job is different, and each presents a new challenge that requires critical thinking, creativity, and technical skills. Additionally, there is a sense of satisfaction in knowing that your work contributes to the safety and well-being of others.

 

Pros I feel about this profession are :

The best part of being an electrician is the high demand for skilled workers and the potential for earning a competitive salary. Moreover, the job offers a high level of job security, as there will always be a need for skilled electricians in various industries.

 

Cons you feel about this profession are :

One of the major challenges of being an electrician is the risk of electrical shock or injury, which can be life-threatening. Additionally, the job can be physically demanding and requires working in uncomfortable and cramped spaces, which can lead to fatigue and strain injuries.

 

What are your suggestions for those who would like to make a career in this profession?
