My Personal Experience: 

Since a young age, I’ve always had a passion for fashion. I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the industry, so I dedicated myself to learning and honing my skills. After completing my formal education in fashion design, I started my journey as an intern at a renowned fashion house in New York City.

During my internship, I had the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals and gain hands-on experience in the industry. The Hard part I feel about this profession as per my experience till now:

Being a fashion designer is an exhilarating journey, but it’s not without its challenges. One of the hardest parts for me has been the fierce competition in the industry. Things I find interesting or feel “happy” about this profession are:

Pros And Cons which I feel about this profession:

The ability to create something from scratch and witness it being worn by individuals is incredibly gratifying. Cons:

It’s important to acknowledge that the fashion industry can be highly competitive and demanding. The constant pressure to stay relevant and meet client expectations can sometimes lead to burnout. Additionally, the financial aspect of the business can be challenging, especially when starting your own label. Securing funding, managing production costs, and finding the right market can pose significant obstacles.

 

My suggestions for newcomers in this profession:

• Pursue formal education: While not mandatory, obtaining a degree or diploma in fashion design can provide a strong foundation and equip you with essential technical skills and industry knowledge.
