My Personal Experience:

The Hard part I feel about this profession as per my experience till now:

The pursuit of groundbreaking discoveries and advancements often leads to cut-throat competition among researchers. Securing funding for research projects is another arduous task. The funding landscape is highly competitive, and the success rate for grant applications is relatively low. It requires persistence and strong proposal writing skills to secure funding for valuable research.

Furthermore, conducting experiments and collecting data can be time-consuming and meticulous. It requires precision and attention to detail to ensure accurate results. Dealing with failures and setbacks is also a significant challenge. Research doesn’t always yield the expected outcomes, and it can be disheartening when experiments fail or hypotheses are disproven. It takes resilience and a positive mindset to overcome such obstacles and keep pushing forward.

 

Things I find interesting or feel “happy” about this profession are:
