My Personal Experience: 

Being a firefighter is one of the most challenging but rewarding professions. As a firefighter, my main duty is to protect life, property, and the environment from fire and other emergency situations. It is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of mental and physical fitness. The job is never easy, but it is extremely gratifying to be able to help people in their times of need.

 

The Hard part I feel about this profession as per my experience till now is: 

One of the hardest parts of being a firefighter is dealing with the emotional toll that comes with the job. We witness some of the most traumatic events, and it can be difficult to cope with the stress and trauma that comes with the job. It’s important to have a good support system and to take care of yourself mentally and emotionally.
Things one might find interesting or feel “happy” about this profession are: 

One of the most interesting aspects of the job is the sense of camaraderie and brotherhood that comes with working as a firefighter. The team is like a family, and we rely on each other to get the job done. Additionally, every day is different, and you never know what kind of situation you might be called to respond to. It keeps the job exciting and challenging.
Pros I feel about this profession are :

The best part of being a firefighter is knowing that you are making a difference in people’s lives. We are often the first on the scene of an emergency, and being able to help people in their time of need is an incredible feeling. Additionally, the pay and benefits for firefighters are typically very good, and there is often room for advancement and career growth.

 

Cons you feel about this profession are :

One of the biggest cons of being a firefighter is the physical toll that the job can take on your body. We work long hours, often in dangerous and unpredictable conditions. Injuries and health problems are common, and it can be challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, the job can be mentally and emotionally draining, and it’s important to take care of yourself both on and off the job.

 

What are your suggestions for those who would like to make a career in this profession?

Becoming a firefighter is not easy, but it is an incredibly rewarding career. The first step is to obtain the necessary education and training. Most fire departments require a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as completion of a firefighter training program. It’s also important to maintain a good level of physical fitness and to be mentally prepared for the job’s demands. It’s a tough job, but it’s also one of the most fulfilling careers out there.
