#20 Experience Of A Health Care Nurse !

Profession: Health Care Nursing

Experience: 2.5 Years

Location: United Kingdom, Blackpool

My personal experience in health care has proved that anyone with any background can do it. I previously worked in sales and did not have any formal qualifications. Since working in healthcare, I have massively improved my mental well being and my confidence. I was also able to fund my own studies to enable me to be accepted into university to move my career to the next level.

My experience proves that health care opens opportunities and can help you not only improve your patient’s lives but massively improve your own life. I have had an amazing learning experience working in healthcare. It has increased my knowledge and opened my eyes to how society works.Has made me aware of the social struggles in my town. But also showed me the good in people, working with such amazing people that have become like a second family to me.

Working for the NHS and studying Nursing at university in the UK definitely has its ups and downs. Working long hours caring for the most vulnerable people in society, with learning curves every single day and constant challenges.

It is the most rewarding job you will ever have, making a genuine difference to peoples lives. Working in healthcare you will have the best and worst experiences of your lives, being shared with a team you will become so close too, they will essentially become your family.

Working in health care has changed my life, it opens doors to lots of different things. Caring for people is one of the most rewarding jobs out there. It not only changes the lives of others but it makes you a better person.

Things one might find interesting or feel “happy” about this profession are :

Working for the NHS, looking after people in the worst time of their lives gives you a huge sense of satisfaction you won’t find in any other job.Working in the healthcare profession lets you learn new things every day, meet people from all walks of life and it challenges you to better yourself.

Pros And Cons which I feel about this profession are :

The pros to working in health care are the confidence you build, as you become a more developed professional every day. Helping people and being a nurse is often considered an admirable occupation in society. The actual qualification enables you to work anywhere in the world.

The cons to this profession, however, is definitely the mental hardship that comes with the job. It can become very challenging with tough decisions and heartbreaking events that happen. From death to diagnosis, you have to be able to stay strong yourself, whilst giving emotional support to patients and their family.

  1. Hi there, I believe your website could possibly be having internet browser compatibility issues.

Whenever I look at your website in Safari, it
looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it’s got some
overlapping issues. I simply wanted to give you a quick heads up!
    Aside from that, great website!
