My Personal Experience: 

My journey as a fitness coach began when I was in college, pursuing a degree in Exercise Science. During that time, I developed a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their health goals. The Hard part I feel about this profession as per my experience till now:

Being a fitness coach is an incredibly rewarding profession, but it does come with its fair share of challenges. One of the biggest challenges I have faced is helping my clients overcome their mental barriers. Many individuals struggle with self-doubt and lack of motivation, making it difficult for them to stay committed to their fitness goals.

Another challenge I face is keeping up with the ever-evolving fitness industry. This means investing time and effort into continuous learning and professional development.

Additionally, as a fitness coach, I often have to work irregular hours to accommodate my clients’ schedules. Early mornings, late evenings, and even weekends are common working hours for me. While I love what I do, it can be challenging to balance my personal life with the demands of the job.

 

Things I find interesting or feel “happy” about this profession are:

  • Business aspects: Running a successful fitness coaching business involves marketing, client acquisition, and administrative tasks, which can sometimes be overwhelming and time-consuming.

 

My suggestions for newcomers in this profession:
